Wine Steam, Wow Launcher, etc.. runtime error

Here is a possible fix for the users getting “C++ Runtime Error” while running Steam, WoW Launcher, and any other Games with HTML pages inside it.

1. Make a file on the desktop, named winetricks.

2. Open this file with your favourite text editor.

3. Copy the text from this page in the created file:

4. Save the file.

5. Open a Terminal.

6. su -c ‘mv /home/%USER%/Desktop/winetricks /usr/bin/winetricks’

7. Run the following command: sh winetricks gecko

8. Follow the steps.

9. Once wine-gecko is installed, you are ready to run your favourite game/application!
