Having neglected to make a reservation last night, we ended up at Crush: the only place we could get into last minute on a Saturday night. Although the food got a solid thumbs up from all four members of our party, it’s not a place I’d recommend going if you’re particularly hungry. The portion sizes are on the fine dining side…when they say chicken with potatoes and vegetables, they mean a large chicken wing on three small potatoes and a stick of celery.
As far as the service is concerned, If you’re not in a rush, and happy to chat over bread and wine then the service is appropriate. If however, like us, you need to be somewhere within the hour, then you might want to think about going elsewhere as this really isn’t a fast food restaurant.
