Just over two years ago, we took a trip to California. While there, we spent two amazing days in Sonoma. We drove up from Santa Cruz on a clear day, drinking in the west coast scenery as we went. Our plan was to get to the inn, drop off our stuff, then head out to a winery or two before dinner. At one point, though, we missed a turn and found ourselves entering Napa. No big deal, though. We turned around and retraced our route, where we discovered a winery we wanted to visit was on the way. After sampling some of the wines at Gundlach Bundschu, we bought a case and joined their wine club. We eventually had to put a hold on the wine deliveries as we just don’t have any more room in our wine racks.
