Yesterday, we spotted a few verses where Jesus spoke to individuals. The sayings were not pithy instruction – they were calls and promises made to individuals.
Here is another conversation Jesus had with an individual:
John 2:7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. Jesus worked a miracle and used it to teach a point. Remember, in John 1:1-16, the author writes about the word (well worth re-reading). His words are not to be trifled with; neither those words of His servants, when they speak with His power. I believe that He shares His power of speaking with us, and that His speaking is power. I look forwardm to having a little more time to explore what he said.[Via http://myscripturestudy.wordpress.com]
