First things first...

Welcome to Becnel Family Vineyards, also known as “The Other Neighbors”.  We’re three generations living and working on our family’s vineyard growing Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Pinot Noir winegrapes.  For over thirty years, we’ve been just outside of Healdsburg, California working together to raise kids, fix broken waterlines, unflip flipped over dump trucks and grow the best winegrapes possible.

Despite our history in the area, Becnel Family Vineyards is still relatively unknown when compared to some of our neighbors like the Rochiolis, Williams Selyem and John Tyler Wines.  The families behind these labels have worked hard to build a reputation for excellence in the grape growing and wine making worlds and, while doing so, gained a celebrity-like status for their highly sought after wines.  It explains why we get a lot of shrugged shoulders when we tell people where we live until we finally mention our nearby neighbors.  And it’s why I jokingly refer to our family, for now, as “The Other Neighbors”.  Someday, when we’re better known, we’ll gladly pass the title on to someone else.
